| the 2005 social with the legend himself was an event not to be missed there was electricity in the air and you could feel the anticipation as everyone was seated, I met some new friends there this year including David Domen and Rip from Birmingham. the dinner catered by the "uptown cafe" was first class as always. |

| Spanky gave a great talk about how he met Evet when he was just 15 and how Evel had inspired him to go futher than any other stuntman, he then announced that Evel had been voted 'world's greatset stuntman" and presented him with a beautiful plaque, there was not a dry eye in the house. Evel then made a speech that was awesome as always. he talked about his meds his health and how good it was to be home with so many friends, he said he did not know if he would go on with his breathing treatments because he was "tied to that machine all day every day" but not to worry about him! he would be fine and in 3 to 5 years a cure might be found. the dinner was top notch with caesars palace mixed greens fountain salad with canadian national exposition raspberry vinaigrette dressing snake riverstyle pacific halibut with a citrus burre blanc cow palace grilled tenderloin with cabernet demi glaze madison square garden seanonal vegetables wembley stadium whipped yukon gold potatoes kings island smooth white mousse pie. |

| Spanky's hot air baloon fall stunt was a lot more than people thought, after seeing him first jump off the Finlin on fire than last year from a crane high about broadway street this topped both! the wind was really picking up and over 6 knots its really moving all around! I dont know how he managed to time it but he hit it right on! |
