Evel refused to be taken to the hospital even thought he was in a lot of pain because he had promised to sign autographes and he always does what he says he'll do!

"STRUTTER" rocked the house down at "the rail" I have been a KISS fan since way back and these guys are so much like the origionals its unreal!  James Moore,Batman,Wade and Mr. and Mrs. Flipper had a great time! I hope to catch this act again!!

friday was pretty warm in Butte and we met up with Paul Squires and his family across from the Finlin hotel, we were in line to watch the "wall of death" stunt riders when Paul collapsed to the ground in severe stomach pain, Wade, Angie (Pauls girlfriend) and I helped him over to the Finlan lobby which was no cooler than outdoors and got him some cold water but he was not getting better so I called for the EMS to come which they did and took Paul and Angie to the ER. as Paul was being loaded into the ambulance he was heard shouting " Ladies and Gentelmen of this wonderful country....I have to tell you...you'll  never....ever..see..." then the doors were slammed shut and no one knows how that quote ended but Paul is fine now with the ulcer medication and diet./ on the day of the Evel Knievel social and picnic everyone was excited and I got to meet some great guys from Texas who found out Mrs. Flipper can have her table moved to the shade if she wants (inside joke) anyway there were lots of fans with all kinds of cool items and scrap books ETC.  that they wanted the King of the stuntmen to sign for them and Evel was right on time and started signing but was having severe back pain and went to the hosptial to get checked out but as he got up to go he kept signing almost everyones items, there was just a couple who got left out and Evel felt like he had let his fans down but no one complained and hopefully got to meet up with the legend later on that weekend.  the lunch was a grilled stake, potato salad,corn on the cob and a big home made cookie, it was really great! the crowds were huge friday and saturday night in uptown Butte and the local police had their hands full!! later after the picnic Evel left the hospital and went stright back uptown to announce the winner of the custom E.K. V-rod which was won by Steve Austin who I assume opened a can of whoop ass on the roads of Butte later that night,  after the drawing Evel went back to the hospital and so did Mrs. Flipper after she suffered a seziuer in front of the band stage where Evel had just been, a big thanks to Earle and Brenda Castine (two of Evel's best friends and mine too) thier friend Diane,Wade, and Josh Pesanti who really was a life saver! neither Lisa or I will ever forget you pal, thanks a million!! both Lisa and Evel were released and all is well thanks to the great staff at ST. James hospital! but the party lasted well into the night and the Butte police even asked the bars to close because they did not know if they could keep the peace but everything went great and everyone had fun
